Meet The Team

Breauna Waterford

Representing one-half of SkullWata, she has prided herself on evolving the visual arts. Receiving a BA in Documentary Film Production and MA in Applied Anthropology she uses her knowledge to create documentary-style virtual experiences and classic documentary films. Using storytelling at its core she persuades her participants to express themselves both visually and orally. Over the years she has used her skills on various entertainment sets to grow her knowledge of the craft.

She puts the Wata in SkullWata Productions.

Katherine Scully

The other half of SkullWata, Kat, is an artist, a creator of experiences, and an applied anthropologist. They received an MA in applied anthropology from California State University, Long Beach. Their thesis, Advertising Utopia: Queer Expressions and Hope in Online Personal Ads, utilized queer and feminist theories, autoethnographic and decolonizing methodologies, and was presented as an immersive installation.

They put the Skull in SkullWata.
